They don't call him "Scoop J" for nothing! NBC WTHR's Steve "Scoop" Jefferson is known in the television news industry as one of the best crime reporters across the country by scooping the competition! His sources are deep, his connections are wide, and somehow he often convinces criminals to turn themselves in! Jefferson was the first and only reporter who was tipped off about the Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle's arrest for sexual misconduct with minors. Scoop found himself conducting live interviews with national and international television and radio networks as he broke the case wide open in front of Fogle's Zionsville, Indiana home as he was led away in handcuffs to the shock of neighbors. Jefferson joins his colleague WTHR Channel 13 News Anchor Andrea Morehead to discuss that case and other riveting crime stories he's covered in his 28 year career, and how the media and law enforcement work together to find justice for victims and their families.
